CARE ADVICES - PILLOWCASES
Hand washing is the safest way to wash your pillowcase as it is a very delicate material.
Hand wash
- Warm water : Wash with warm water, avoiding rubbing or wringing the fabric.
- Gentle detergent : Use a silk detergent or a mild detergent with a neutral pH. Avoid using fabric softener.
- Rinse : Rinse gently with lukewarm water.
- Follow the drying and ironing steps below.
Machine wash
- Turn your pillowcase inside out : Before washing it, turn your pillowcase inside out.
- Delicate program : Use a delicate or wool cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C .
- Laundry bag : Place your pillowcase in a laundry bag to avoid friction.
- Laundry : Choose a mild detergent, specially formulated for silk or delicate fabrics, without bleaching agents or dyes. Avoid using powder detergent or fabric softener, as these can damage silk.

Drying
- Flat : Dry your pillowcase flat on a clean towel or hang without clothespins.
- Avoid heat : Do not use a tumble dryer or expose silk to direct sunlight or heat sources such as a radiator.
Ironing
- Low temperature : Iron at low temperature on the reverse side, without steam.
- Slightly damp : It is best to iron silk while it is still slightly damp to avoid creases.
